A venue that offers something for everyone. Kathy and her staff are amazing and always try to accommodate. Love hanging out there...the real deal dive bar atmosphere in the heart of RVA......

Little sketchy place. But definitely has a underground concert venue feel to it. Chicken nuggets for a good price ~$6, they were okay

Great time good parking had a great time here there was alot of people here but still had room to move drinks were good awesome time would definitely go back for another show

This particular Club I enjoyed so much because it has up-tempo music the people were Lively and vivacious the service was excellent at the bar you cannot get it anywhere else with smiles and great service and security was fully enforced that is something that I really appreciate it being enforced to know that you can be safe and sound while you are in the facility it's a great dance spot if you want to have a great time and have a party that's the place to be

Had a great time. The place was nicer than I expected after reading some of the other reviews before my visit. I certainty have been in much worse places to see shows like the one I attended, I thought it was clean and well maintained. Will certainly go back if a band I want to see is booked. I do recommend this place. I did not see the upstairs.

This is *the* venue in Richmond for indie, punk and metal acts. I've seen so many great shows here. The audio support is legit and sound techs know what they're doing. The tap list has improved recently too!

Nice little venue for live music. Bar prices are crazy, but that’s to be expected. Bouncers are always friendly. Only downside is that it seems like the scene has gone a little soft. But that’s no fault of the Canal Club. I’ve been a handful of times and plan on going back in a few weeks. Also, parking is plentiful! Perfect location and finding parking has not been an issue.
